TVS Motor Company has generated excitement among the motorcycle community by posting a teaser of a new Apache model on its social media accounts. The teaser is of aggressive-looking LED DRLs, which hint at an even more aggressive and updated look. Based on industry rumours, it could be the 2025 Apache RTR 160 2V or RTR 180 2V, both of which needed a revamp. The teaser follows the recent revamp of the Apache RTR 200 4V, so there has to be a broader revamp in the '2V' range. The new Apache will probably have the same old look but with a couple of major changes. A new headlamp unit, along with the LED DRLs, would probably make the bike look new. TVS can also bring in new colour schemes to provide an improved look to the bike. The other changes anticipated include a new digital instrument cluster, additional ride modes, and potential electronic rider aids to make the bike more user-friendly and easier to ride.

Mechanically, the teased Apache versions are likely to remain the same. The current engines, the 199 cc single-cylinder engine of the RTR 200 4V and the 159 cc single-cylinder engine of the RTR 160 4V, are likely to be retained. The engines deliver good power, and the updates are likely to be design upgrades and features and not engine upgrades.
Besides the teased Apache, TVS is going to release the Apache RTX 300. The adventure bike is going to be equipped with a 300 cc engine that was released last year. The RTX 300 was just revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where it attracted a lot of attention. The bike is designed for adventure riders and is likely to deliver aggressive and off-road performance.
