TVS Motor Company has teased the upcoming 2025 Jupiter 125, hinting at a refreshed entry into India's competitive 125cc scooter segment. The teaser reveals a sleek single-piece seat, a new pillion grab rail, and a striking copper colour scheme, suggesting a more premium design direction. While specific details remain under wraps, the updated model is expected to feature modern styling cues and enhanced features, building upon the legacy of the Jupiter series. The official launch is anticipated soon, with more information to be unveiled in the coming days.
TVS Motor Company has begun teasing the next iteration of its Jupiter 125 scooter, revealing a few glimpses via a dedicated Instagram account. The previews suggest a redesigned model that the brand says will embody "style, power, and performance" with a more assertive appearance.

Visually, the scooter is expected to adopt cues from the facelifted Jupiter 110. Moreover, it will feature a distinct copper colour scheme, a streamlined seat design, a revamped grab handle, and a full LED lighting setup, including integrated indicators within the headlamp cluster.
Despite the updated styling, the underlying mechanical platform is unlikely to see major changes. The upcoming model is anticipated to use the same 125cc single-cylinder engine, producing around 8bhp and 10.5Nm of torque in standard form. With the addition of the iGo Assist feature, output may rise slightly to 8.44bhp and 11.1Nm. Power will continue to be sent through a CVT automatic transmission, typical of scooters in this category.
In terms of components, the Jupiter 125 is expected to maintain its practical approach, possibly offering a front disc brake, rear drum brake, telescopic front suspension, and blacked-out 12-inch alloy wheels. Storage and convenience features such as a floorboard-mounted fuel tank, an external front fuel cap, and a two-litre glove compartment with a USB charging port are also likely to be offered.
Feature upgrades may play a central role in this update. Anticipated additions include a fully digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth pairing capabilities. This system is expected to offer features such as call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance, and a ‘Find My Scooter’ function to help users locate the vehicle through their smartphone. LED lighting could be standard across the board, along with a follow-me-home headlamp feature.
Though the company hasn’t disclosed an official launch timeline, the new Jupiter 125 is expected to go on sale in India in the coming months.

Once launched, it will go up against popular 125cc scooters such as the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, Hero Destini 125, and Yamaha Fascino. With refreshed looks and modern tech, the scooter will likely see a marginal price hike over the current model, which is currently available between Rs 80,640 and Rs 91,821 (ex-showroom).
