Ola Electric will host its annual 'Sankalp' event on August 15 at its Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. While there is no confirmation, the EV maker seems to be brewing something exciting for its market, with a much-anticipated electric scooter and the next-generation MoveOS 6 operating system, based on teasers. To recall, Ola's last year's event on Independence Day was packed with modern advancements. The highlights included three new electric motorcycle concepts and the Bharat 4680 cell and battery pack. The MoveOS 5 operating system was also part of the lineup. While this year's event is around the corner, here's what you can expect from Ola based on the official teasers.

Ola has teased an all-new electric scooter, hinting at a fresh design direction for the brand. While the teaser video keeps specifics under wraps, it does offer a glimpse of several key styling elements. The overall silhouette appears to be different from the curvy aesthetics of Ola's existing range of models. A closer look at the front panel reveals what seems to be a camera positioned beneath the Ola logo. Meanwhile, the rear highlights sharp, outward-angled grab rails, offering a distinctly sporty and assertive appearance. The seat is a flat, single-piece unit.
On the mechanical front, there's no information as of yet. Industry reports, however, suggest that the upcoming Ola EV will have better technology and a longer range.
The company will unveil its Diamondhead electric motorcycle at the upcoming event as part of its Moonshot project. The concept features a unique dome-shaped front with an LED strip, single-piece seat, clip-on handlebars, and raised tail section. It is currently unclear whether the model set to unveil at the event will be an evolved concept or a production model. We anticipate Ola to share more information on the sports bike's powertrain and other specifications.
Ola’s upcoming MoveOS 6 is expected to deliver a smarter, more intuitive riding experience by deeply integrating its proprietary AI platform, Krutrim. Riders can expect an upgraded voice assistant with conversational capabilities and an AI-driven chatbot to provide real-time help with navigation, troubleshooting, and queries. A key feature likely to debut is Predictive Service, which uses AI to monitor riding habits and proactively notify users about upcoming maintenance, reducing the risk of unexpected issues.
