Royal Enfield has slashed Classic 350, Meteor 350, and Hunter 350 prices by up to Rs 22,000, after GST on sub-350cc bikes dropped to 18 per cent.

Royal Enfield has reduced prices across its 350cc motorcycle lineup in India following the rollout of GST 2.0 reforms. The price cut will be effective from 22 September 2025 and covers three of the company’s most popular models: the Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. The move follows the GST Council’s decision to lower the tax on motorcycles up to 350cc from 28 percent to 18 percent. Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will pass this tax benefit in full to customers. The new pricing means buyers can expect savings of up to Rs 22,000, depending on the model and variant. The Classic 350, one of the brand’s most recognisable motorcycles, will see a reduction of about Rs 20,000.

The Meteor 350 and Hunter 350 will also be priced lower by a similar margin. Since all three models are built with engines under 350cc, they qualify for the new, reduced GST rate. Dealers have shared that revised ex-showroom prices will be reflected across outlets nationwide by the end of September.

This update comes at a time when Royal Enfield’s 350cc motorcycles are already performing strongly in the market. The segment recorded 29 per cent year-on-year growth between April and August 2025, making it the company’s most important contributor to sales. The GST reform also changes the landscape for Royal Enfield’s portfolio, as motorcycles above 350cc will now attract a much higher 40 percent GST rate.
Royal Enfield believes the revised pricing will help attract a wider base of buyers, particularly first-time customers who were previously hesitant due to higher costs. Beyond motorcycles, the company has also confirmed that servicing, genuine accessories and riding gear will now be available at reduced prices in line with the tax changes. This ensures that the ownership experience becomes more cost-effective, not just the initial purchase.

For Indian buyers, the benefit is straightforward. Savings ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 22,000 on a new 350cc Royal Enfield make entering the mid-size motorcycle segment easier. The brand expects this move to strengthen its customer base and maintain momentum for its top-selling models. It also signals a shift in the two-wheeler market, where affordability will play a key role in driving future growth.
