Royal Enfield's Managing Director Siddhartha Lal stated the company is developing an electric motorcycle while discussing the company's financial results. After investing EUR 50 million in the business, Stark Future has become a strategic partner of the brand. The launch date of this new electric motorbike is, as of this writing, unknown. According to Managing Director Siddhartha Lal, Royal Enfield is making steady progress on its EV journey, having already achieved significant headway in its EV motorcycle project and having formed an alliance with Stark Future. Royal Enfield has also increased the price of their latest offering, the Super Meteor 650, in India by Rs 5,000 across all variants. It's the first price increase for this model since it was introduced in the market. The manufacturer unveiled its flagship motorcycle in January of this year.
