Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Electric Bike 1

Royal Enfield has unveiled its new motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6 in Milan, Italy, ahead of the 2024 EICMA show. The brand-new bike marks the brand's foray into EVs, following an amazing track record of producing iconic nameplates like Bullet and Interceptor. It features a classic design instead of the expected adventure-focused look. The combination of vintage design and modern technology offers a practical and smooth riding experience suitable for daily use and short weekend trips. The Flying Flea C6 has an aluminium frame with a magnesium battery shell in the middle for improved cooling and weight savings. It comes with a circular LED headlamp, a single seat, and a fender-mounted taillight. Read on for more details.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Other Highlights

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 has a circular TFT instrument console that provides riders with essential riding information. The screen is Bluetooth-enabled, enabling smooth integration with smartphone apps. Other notable features include a lean-sensitive ABS, cruise control, OTA capabilities, keyless ignition, and traction control.

The bike's suspension system comprises a monoshock in the rear and a girder fork in the front. Disc brakes on both ends provide stopping force, possibly with dual-channel ABS. The bike sports skinny 19-inch alloy wheels and tubeless Ceat tyres, with a 90-section tyre in the front.

As of now, Royal Enfield has not provided any details regarding the mechanical features of its flagship electric bike. Industry speculations, however, suggest that the upcoming machine's performance will be similar to Royal Enfield's 350 series motorcycles, making it ideal for city commutes. The electric bike will go on sale in 2026.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6

Aside from the C6 (its first offering under the Flying Flea brand), the company teased its second EV, the S6 (a scrambler version of the C6). The S6 packs a flat, bench-style seat, spoked wheels with dual-purpose rubber tyres, and a suspension with greater travel. It is expected to launch in 2027, following the arrival of the C6.
