Royal Enfield has officially entered the electric two-wheeler segment with the launch of the Flying Flea C6 in India, priced at Rs 2.79 lakh(ex-showroom). Drawing inspiration from the original Flying Flea motorcycle used during World War II, the C6 combines retro styling with modern electric performance and marks the debut of Royal Enfield’s new Flying Flea EV sub-brand. The Flying Flea C6 does not have a direct rival in India at present, though buyers may cross-shop it against premium electric motorcycles such as the Matter Aera, Ola Roadster Pro and Ultraviolette F77.

The Flying Flea C6 can also be purchased under Royal Enfield’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, with the effective price set at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield is also expected to expand the Flying Flea range with a scrambler-style model next year.
The Flying Flea C6 measures 2,089mm in length, 831mm in width with mirrors, and 1,122mm in height without mirrors. It has a wheelbase of 1,366mm, ground clearance of 207mm, and a seat height of 823mm. With a kerb weight of 124kg, the C6 is among the lighter motorcycles in Royal Enfield’s portfolio.

Feature highlights include a 3.5-inch colour TFT display and a 15W wireless phone charger. Royal Enfield has also loaded the bike with electronic rider aids, including lean-sensitive dual-channel ABS, switchable rear ABS, multi-level traction control, hill-hold assist, bidirectional crawl mode, and remote lock/unlock.
Powering the Flying Flea C6 is a 3.91kWh battery pack paired with a 20.65bhp electric motor that makes 60Nm of peak torque. Royal Enfield claims an IDC-certified range of 154km on a single charge.

The C6 can accelerate from 0-60km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 115km/h. Riders can choose between five riding modes: City, Rain, Highway, Sport, and Custom.
Royal Enfield has equipped the Flying Flea C6 with a girder linkage-type hydraulic front suspension setup with twin units, paired with a direct-acting rear monoshock featuring an internal floating piston. Suspension travel stands at 100mm at the front and 110mm at the rear.

The electric motorcycle rides on 19-inch tubeless CEAT tyres at both ends, wrapped in 90/90-section rubber. Braking is handled by a 260mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, backed by dual-channel ABS with three sensitivity levels and switchable rear ABS. Other hardware includes an electronic handlebar lock, a two-piston front calliper, and a single-piston rear calliper.
