In keeping with its global strategy, legendary Indian bike manufacturer Royal Enfield has announced the launch of its first standalone flagship store in Tokyo.

Royal Enfield has just launched its first-ever standalone flagship store in Japan. The store is located in Suginami-Tokyo and was launched via a digital press conference. The store will have the complete line-up of Royal Enfield motorcycles, apparel, and accessories. It will also offer spare parts and service options. Royal Enfield has partnered PCI Co. Ltd for distribution and has ambitious plans for expansion in Japan.

Japan is one of the leading motorcycle markets in the Asia-pacific region, and this strategic announcement is a step towards realising Royal Enfield’s aim of leading and expanding itself in the global mid-size motorcycle segment.

Speaking at the launch, Vinod K Dasari, CEO, Royal Enfield, said, 'At the heart of everything we do, lies the fundamental experience of life that is authentic and real, and with that ideology, we have not just pioneered and led but also expanded the mid-size segment in India and across the world. We see a clear opportunity to do the same in Japan as well, with a huge commuter base seeking out real adventures and experiences, looking to upgrade to a motorcycle that enables them to kick-start the active lifelong pursuit of exploration, which, at the same time, is accessible and practical enough for daily riding conditions. Japan has an evolved motorcycling ecosystem and a matured riding culture. Not just our motorcycles but our complete range of purpose-built apparel and accessories will also cater to the riding enthusiasts in the country.'

Just like all RE-branded stores across the globe, Royal Enfield’s first exclusive showroom in Tokyo will focus on creating a robust ecosystem for its products and will include a highly differentiated retail experience, aftermarket capabilities, rides, and community events.
