Royal Enfield has launched the Himalayan 450 Mana Black in India at its annual Motoverse event in Goa, after showcasing it earlier this month at EICMA. With a price tag of Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom), the Mana Black costs over Rs 17,000 more than the Hanle Black trim (Rs 3.20 lakh), which makes it the new top-spec variant in the lineup.
The Himalayan 450, in its Mana Black avatar, looks more rugged and rally-inspired, thanks to factory-installed accessories. The edition is inspired by the Mana Pass, one of the highest and toughest routes in the world, embodying endurance and adventure. Here's everything you need to know about it.
Given it’s an edition and not a full model update, the changes are purely cosmetic. The Mana Black builds on the regular Himalayan with a bold, rally-themed look and exclusive styling elements. It stands out with a full stealth-black makeover, contrasted by matte grey accents.

Other accessories include black rally handguards, a flatter, off-road–oriented seat that sits 35mm higher at 860mm, a raised front fender, and a sleek tail portion. Royal Enfield has equipped this variant with tubeless spoked wheels as standard. The Mana Black Edition weighs 195 kg, which is 1 kg lighter than the standard Himalayan 450.
The bike has the same Sherpa 450 engine – a 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit – that produces 39bhp of maximum power and 40Nm of peak torque, and is mated to a six-speed transmission. Up front, it features 43mm upside-down forks, while the rear is supported by a Showa monoshock, both offering 200mm of travel.
The bike rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc, complemented by switchable rear ABS. Key features include a 4-inch circular TFT display with smartphone connectivity and Google Maps-powered navigation, two riding modes (Eco and Performance), and a USB charging port.
Following the GST 2.0 revision, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 starts at Rs 3.06 lakh for the base Kaza Brown shade, while Slate Himalayan Salt and Slate Poppy Blue cost Rs 3.10 lakh each.
