Royal Enfield has increased the prices of its popular 650cc motorcycles in India, including the Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor, and Shotgun. The hike ranges between Rs 3,200 and Rs 4,300. Though the company hasn’t officially commented, the rising production expenses are speculated to be the reason for the price hike. Royal Enfield is set to expand its 650cc portfolio with the launch of the all-new Bullet 650 in India later this year. Staying true to the Bullet’s timeless charm, the motorcycle features retro design highlighted by a long bench seat, classic peashooter exhausts, hand-painted tank pinstripes, signature ‘tiger eye’ indicators, and a round headlamp, and premium 3D Royal Enfield badging on the fuel tank.

Mechanically, the Bullet 650 is built on the same platform as the Classic 650 and is powered by the familiar 649cc parallel-twin engine that makes 46bhp and 52Nm, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch.
