Royal Enfield is preparing to launch a range of motorcycles shortly. According to industry reports, the renowned 650cc range is expected to get bigger with six new models in addition to the Continental GT and the Interceptor. Recently, a trademark document has popped up online, revealing a possible name for one of these motorcycles. There is no official confirmation, however, it is possible that the upcoming Scrambler could be the one to get the newly trademarked name - the Bear 650. According to market reports, the parent company of Royal Enfield, Eicher Motors, has applied for the right to use the names: Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 in Australia and Interceptor Bear 650 in New Zealand as trademarks. The trademark document has nearly confirmed the 650cc engine size of the future bike, and it would be based on the Interceptor model.

The test mule of the upcoming Scrambler, which may be called the Interceptor Bear 650, has been spotted several times ahead of the launch in a foreign land and our market. According to spy images, which surfaced online a while ago, the upcoming Scrambler will likely follow the current Interceptor 650. It will presumably get the same chassis and fuel tank. However, the new Scrambler will probably have a side-mounted two-in-one exhaust system rather than the twin exhaust system found on all of the brand's other 650 motorcycles.
Other distinguishing features of the upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler 650, which could be named, the Interceptor Bear 650, will likely be wire-spoked wheels, USD front forks, knobbly tyres, a single-piece seat with ribs, an exhaust heat shield, LED headlights and taillights, a sump guard and more.

Mechanically, the upcoming Scrambler motorcycle will likely have a 648cc air and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, capable of churning out 46.4bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm. For transmission, it will employ a 6-speed gearbox.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler 650: Price
Royal Enfield has not officially confirmed any speculation or report circulating online on the upcoming motorcycle yet. However, based on multiple sightings of the model, assumptions have been made about its design and more. The firm will reportedly put an end to these speculations by introducing its range of models in the market. If we go by several industry reports, the new Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 could ask for approx Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
