Royal Enfield Windfarer V2 Riding Jacket Launched in India at Rs 9,500
The Royal Enfield Windfarer V2 features a two-layer construction, made of a mix of high abrasion-resistant polyester mesh and 600D polyester fabric.

While the Royal Enfield Himalayan has just won the 17th Indian Motorcycle of the Year award at a ceremony in Mumbai, the Indian bikemaker has already launched the all-new Windfarer V2 riding jacket for Rs 9,500. Royal Enfield says that the jacket is designed for riders 'seeking style and functionality', and offers safety and comfort to the rider while cruising down the city.
Royal Enfield Windfarer V2: Predominantly Mesh Construction
The Royal Enfield Windfarer V2 features a two-layer construction, made of a mix of high abrasion-resistant polyester mesh and 600D polyester fabric. It comes with 610D polyester Cordura patches for the shoulders and elbows, which are generally the first impact points in a crash. By the by, Cordura fabric is known for its durability and resistance to abrasions, tears, and scuffs. In addition, there are also Royal Enfield Ergo pro-tech CE Level 2 protectors available for the shoulders, elbows, and back. What's more, it also has a provision to fit a chest protector, which Royal Enfield says can be upgraded with Ergo pro-tech CE Level 1 armour.
The Windfarer V2 jacket has a regular/cruising fit, with adjustment tabs on the cuffs, waist, biceps, and forearms. You also get a detachable rain liner as well as a cushioned comfort collar for preventing skin chafing. For those looking to personalise their riding jackets, Royal Enfield is offering velcro panels for left shoulders, so that customers can tailor-make them with their blood groups, names, etc.
Royal Enfield Windfarer V2: Ergonomics
As the name suggests, the Royal Enfield Windfarer V2 is largely made of mesh panels, promoting optimal airflow for adequate ventilation during hot rides. What also helps the rider are reflective accents provided by Royal Enfield for better visibility. This jacket has 4 pockets in total: 2 front pockets, 1 chest pocket, and 1 pocket in the inside lining. On offer is also a 2-way zipper from YKK.
