The Suzuki Burgman Street EX has finally made its entry into the country. Suzuki Motorcycle India has revamped the standard model, which now comes with 'EX' added to its name. Let's quickly go through the top highlights of the model.

Hardware

The EX model has received a larger rear wheel – it now has 12-inch alloy wheels on each end. The basic model, in contrast, has a 10-inch rear wheel. In the meantime, the suspension system consists of rear springs and telescopic front forks. It gets a combined braking system, and a front disc and a rear drum unit take care of braking duties.

Specifications

There is no alteration in the power and torque outputs of the EX variant, as it uses the same 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8.4bhp at 6,500rpm and 10Nm of maximum torque at 5,500rpm.

Colours

The EX model is available in three colour options – Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Royal Bronze. The footboard area gets a contrasting colour in all body colour options.

It also gets an apron-mounted headlamp, front turn indicators, a visor, a body-coloured front fender, and a single-piece grab rail for the pillion passenger.

Features

The EX variant's feature range includes a Bluetooth-enabled digital display, an LED headlamp, a taillight, and the Suzuki Start-Stop system. It also comes with a USB port, a two-litre glove box, a silent start system, and 21.5 litres of under-seat storage.

The Suzuki Burgman Street 125's existing Ride Connect model is offered at ₹93,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Suzuki Burgman Street EX is priced at ₹1.12 lakh (ex-showroom), which is ₹19,000 more expensive than the Bluetooth version of the standard model.
