The special offer is part of the brand’s Modern Classic anniversary celebration. In the 350cc to 450cc motorcycle segment, the Speed has been one of the most popular bikes and is currently priced at Rs 2.46 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes against the Harley-Davidson X440, KTM 390 Duke, and BMW G310 R. Let’s take a closer look at other details.

Triumph Speed 400: Powertrain, Hardware, and Features

It has 43mm upside-down Big Piston forks (130mm travel) at the front and a gas-charged monoshock (120mm travel) at the rear. Stopping power comes from a 300mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS.

The bike rides on 17-inch wheels with 110/80 front and 150/70 rear tyres. In terms of features, the Speed is equipped with an analogue speedometer paired multifunction LCD display, and a USB Type-C charging port.

Other Highlights

Triumph teased the Trident 660 Special Edition, hinting at its launch sometime soon. The bike has already made its global debut and is inspired by the legendary ‘Slippery Sam,’ Triumph’s most iconic triple, which won five consecutive TT production races from 1971 to 1975. It is powered by a 660cc inline-triple engine that produces 80bhp and 64Nm, and is paired with a 6-speed transmission.
