Triumph Thruxton 400 spotted undisguised ahead of launch with 399cc engine, café racer styling, expanding Triumph’s 400cc middle-weight lineup in India.

Triumph Motorcycles has been steadily growing its presence in India’s 400cc motorcycle segment. Models like the Speed 400, Speed T4, and Scrambler 400X have helped the brand connect with riders looking for a balance of performance and style. Now, Triumph is set to expand this lineup further. The upcoming Thruxton 400 was recently spotted without camouflage. This sighting has sparked excitement among enthusiasts and suggests that an official launch may be just around the corner. It also signals Triumph’s intent to strengthen its 400cc range in the Indian market.

The Thruxton 400 is expected to share its engine with the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. This 399cc, single-cylinder engine delivers 40bhp and 37.5Nm of torque. It’s a setup known for being responsive and fun to ride. Once launched, the Thruxton 400 will become the fifth 400cc Triumph model in India.

The bike’s design takes clear inspiration from the bigger Thruxton 1200. It features a cafe racer style with clip-on handlebars, a round LED headlamp, a small windscreen, and a sculpted fuel tank. Bar-end mirrors complete the look, giving it a mix of old-school charm and modern details.
