TVS Motor Company is preparing to enter the adventure touring motorcycle segment with the launch of the Apache RTX 300. The Apache RTX 300 is anticipated to be the brand’s first offering in the adventure bike category, expanding the Apache series to address the growing demand for versatile touring motorcycles in the country. If launched, this model could play a significant role in strengthening TVS’s position in the mid-capacity motorcycle market. Design-wise, the Apache RTX 300 is set to combine sporty aesthetics with practical touring features. It is rumoured to feature a tall windscreen, a muscular fuel tank, and a 5-inch full-colour TFT display equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Additional expected technology includes multiple ride modes, traction control, switchable dual-channel ABS, and LED lighting to enhance rider safety and convenience.

The Apache RTX 300 will likely utilise a steel trellis frame similar to that seen on the Apache RR 310. The motorcycle is said to come with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel fitted with dual-purpose tyres suitable for tarmac and light off-road use. Suspension components are expected to include upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, designed to improve ride stability and comfort across varying terrain, making it suited for Indian road conditions.
The upcoming Apache RTX 300 is expected to be powered by a new 299cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder RT-XD4 engine. Reports suggest the motor will produce approximately 35bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. It will likely feature a six-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch technology, which should provide smoother gear shifts and reduce clutch effort.
