TVS Motor Company has launched the Apache RTX ADV in India at an intoductory price of Rs 1.99 Lakh (ex-showroom). With this motorcycle, TVS enters the adventure touring segment, expanding the Apache range beyond street models. The bike is aimed at riders seeking a machine that performs on highways and manages light off-road routes. The launch comes as demand grows in India for mid-capacity adventure bikes that combine comfort with long-distance capability. TVS plans to strengthen its position in this market by offering a product suitable for both daily riding and touring.

Customers can choose the TVS Apache RTX ADV in five colour options – Viper Green, Tarn Vronz, Metallic Green, Lightning Black, and Pearl White. Prices start at Rs 1.99 lakh for the base variant, go up to Rs 2.14 lakh for the top variant, and Rs 2.29 lakh for the BTO variant (all ex-showroom).
The Apache RTX ADV follows a functional design focused on rider convenience and usability. It features a tall windscreen for wind protection, a sculpted fuel tank, a 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth and TVS Smart x connect connectivity. The display supports map mirroring to assist long-distance planning.
The design combines elements from the Apache series with the proportions expected from an adventure motorcycle. It has a practical posture that suits urban travel as well as touring duties.
The Apache RTX ADV offers four ride modes: Tour, Rally, Urban, and Rain, along with two-level traction control and switchable dual-channel ABS. Its full LED headlamps that comes with welcome animation and light intensity control to improves visibility in all conditions.
Powering the Apache RTX ADV is a 299cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder RT-XD4 engine that produces 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch for smoother shifts, along with a bi-directional quickshifter for easier operation.
The suspension setup features an upside-down front fork and a rear monoshock to ensure balance and control. This configuration provides stability on highways and gravel roads, allowing the motorcycle to handle varied Indian terrains with ease. It also offers 200mm of ground clearance for better obstacle clearance and off-road capability.

Competing against the KTM 250 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the RTX ADV marks TVS Motor’s entry into the adventure bike space, offering a practical option for Indian riders.
