TVS has filed a design patent for the Tangent RR Concept in India. This is the same fully-faired, track-focused supersport that made its global debut at EICMA 2025 in Milan, where the brand also showcased the RTR HyprStunt Concept, eFX Three O, and the M1-S and TVS X electric scooters.
Although a design patent has been filed, there is no official confirmation that a production-ready version is currently in development. However, the filing shows TVS’s intention of securing the Tangent RR’s aggressive aerodynamics and race-inspired styling for possible future use. Here’s a closer look at what the patented design tells about the brand’s supersport ambitions.

The design patent carries forward the styling of the original Tangent RR Concept, which stands out with its sharply contoured front. Key design elements include sculpted fairing recesses and chiseled detailing, a raised tail portion, and a split-seat setup, USD front forks and a rear monoshock, petal-type disc brakes at both ends, and a radial-mounted front calliper.

A lightweight monocoque subframe made from advanced composites forms the backbone of the Tangent RR Concept. By improving rigidity and streamlining airflow, it contributes to superior handling and high-speed stability.
For now, there are no official details on the engine or platform of the Tangent RR. Market reports, however, suggest that the final model could launch as the Apache 450 RR, based on a 450cc twin-cylinder platform developed in collaboration with BMW. The engine is said to generate 47bhp and 43Nm on the BMW F 450 GS, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
