TVS to bring out new scooter today

TVS’ new scooter is likely to come with a 125cc engine and a few unique features.

Hot on the heels of the brand spanking new TVS Apache RR 310 comes a new scooter with a sporty theme from the stables of TVS. Scheduled to be revealed later today, this new scooter from TVS is said to be of a sporty nature to appeal to today’s youth. And to do this better it will have a few unique features to boast of.

From the teaser image seen above, we can tell that it will have a unique tail lamp design. And if this design philosophy is to be followed, then we should see some good styling details as well. It will also come with alloy wheels. Features worth noting are an apron mounted LED head lamp with DRLs, an LCD instrument display that is rumoured to have Bluetooth connectivity, and hopefully there will be a few more interesting details.

Fire power will come from a 125cc, air cooled, single cylinder motor that will be hooked to a CVT autobox. While power and torque figures are not available yet, it will be the most powerful scooter from TVS.

Word around is that Aprilia will bring in a 125cc version of their SR scooter soon. And if that is to be believed then the TVS 125 will be its key rival in the world of trendy scooters.
