TVS XL 100 launched at Rs. 30,174

TVS launches XL 100 with improved ergonomics.

TVS has launched the latest version of its XL moped in the form of this XL 100 model that is powered by a 99.7cc, single cylinder, air cooled petrol engine developing 4hp of maximum power. Designed to be an fuel efficient runabout, the new TVS XL 100 has a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 67 km/l and a top speed of 60 km/h.

The TVS XL 100 has been fitted with a broader and more comfortable seat, the rear seat is also detachable allowing riders to have a flat base to carry goods. The front platform of the moped has also been widened to improve practicality. The XL 100 also comes with an improved centre stand (patent pending) that is more stable.

TVS also states that it has worked to improve the ergonomics of the XL 100 to make for a more comfortable riding position. New features aboard the XL 100 include an easier kick start, bigger fuel tank and stainless steel brake cable. The TVS XL 100 has been introduced with new body graphics and has been launched with a choice of five colours – Red, Blue, Green, Black and Grey. The TVS XL 100 is priced at Rs. 30,174 (ex-showroom Delhi).
