Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Teaser

Ultraviolette Automotive, an Indian EV manufacturer, is all set to launch a brand-new product on April 24. The company gave fans a preview of the upcoming F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle through a video teaser posted on its social media handles. Although only a few details are available, there are indications that the Mach 2 may be more technologically advanced and perform better than the F77. The latest teaser gives us a brief glimpse of the motorcycle, but more crucially, it reveals the identity of the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. Here's all you need to know about the Mach 2 e-bike.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: Key Details

The Ultraviolette F77 was introduced in November 2022, and the Mach 2 seems to be either a new version of the F77 or simply an updated version of it. The latest teasers suggest that the F77 Mach 2 is the 'next chapter of performance', which could mean a tweaked motor for more torque and power. Moreover, it will most likely feature an updated TFT display user interface with more functions and better graphics.

The teaser also suggests the possibility of a new riding mode, which might surpass the existing Ballistic mode in terms of performance. To further enhance its appeal, it could also be available in new colour options. Although specifics regarding modifications to the wheels, suspension, or chassis are unknown, industry reports suggest that Ultraviolette may have redesigned and improved the braking system, given the F77 Mach 2's likely increased power output.

The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is expected to be priced higher than the F77, which is currently available for Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom). All things considered, the F77 Mach 2 seems to be a thrilling addition to Ultraviolette's array of electric motorcycles.

Ultraviolette F77: Battery and Features

The standard version is powered by a 27kW motor and a 7.1kWh battery and offers an IDC range of 206km and a top speed of 140km/h. The high-end F77 Recon, on the other hand, features a 29kW mid-mounted electric motor and offers a top speed of 147km/h. It houses a 10.3kWh battery pack, offering a range of 307km.

On the feature front, the F77 series includes a five-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, a nine-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), a vehicle locator, an emergency contact alert, adaptive dash lighting, automatic headlight on/off, navigation, fall and crash sensors, side stand sensors, and ride-by-wire. In our market, the base F77 model goes up against the Orxa Mantis.
