Ultraviolette Shockwave Introductory Prices Extended for First 2,000 Buyers

The Ultraviolette Shockwave has a kerb weight of 120 kg and an IDC-claimed range of 165 kilometres. Deliveries of the electric enduro will begin in Q1 2026.

Ultraviolette Shockwave

The Ultraviolette Shockwave, launched at an enticing price of Rs 1.50 lakh for the first 1,000 customers, saw an impressive surge of over 1,000 bookings within 24 hours of its pre-booking window opening. Due to the overwhelming demand, the company has now extended the introductory pricing for another 1,000 buyers. After the introductory offer, the Shockwave will be priced at Rs 1.75 lakh. In addition to the Shockwave, the company also launched its first-ever electric scooter, the Tesseract, priced at Rs 1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 buyers. All prices are ex-showroom. The scooter has an IDC claimed range of up to 261 kilometres, a 7-inch TFT display, a 34-litre underseat storage, and 14-inch wheels.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: Key Specifications

The Ultraviolette Shockwave has an aggressive design with sharp lines, a high-beak front, and a rally-style seat. The off-road handlebars complete the rugged look, and there are two eye-catching colour on offer: Electric Yellow/Black and White/Red.

According to Ultraviolette, the Shockwave is the first model in its upcoming 'L Series' of lightweight motorcycles. It is equipped with a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both ends. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch wire-spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres.

On the mechanical side, the Shockwave employs a 14.5bhp electric motor, enabling it to go from 0 to 60km/h in 2.9 seconds and achieve a top speed of 120km/h. It comes with a 4kWh battery, providing an estimated range of 165 kilometres as per IDC testing.

The electric enduro has several notable features, including switchable dual-channel ABS, four traction control modes, and six levels of dynamic regeneration.
