Ultraviolette has attracted significant attention in the Indian electric two-wheeler market with the launch of its new X-47 Crossover. The company secured over 3,000 bookings within 24 hours, underlining the rising interest in electric motorcycles. Originally planned for the first 1,000 customers, the introductory offer has been extended to 5,000 buyers in response to demand. The X-47 Crossover is priced at an introductory Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom), with prices expected to rise to Rs 2.74 lakh once the initial allotment ends. Bookings can be made online with a token of Rs 999, and deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2025. This model follows the F77 as Ultraviolette’s second motorcycle, aimed at riders seeking advanced technology and everyday usability.
A key highlight is the radar-based safety system, said to be the first in a production motorcycle. The 77 GHz radar can detect objects up to 200 metres ahead and supports features such as blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, and forward collision warnings. These functions are offered through Ultraviolette’s UV Hypersense ADAS suite, focused on rider safety.

Technical specifications include a 10.7kWh battery paired with an electric motor producing 40bhp and 610Nm of torque. The motorcycle claims an IDC-certified range of 323km per charge. Acceleration figures stand at 0-60km/h in 2.7 seconds and 0-100km/h in 8.1 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 145 km/h. Safety equipment includes dual-channel ABS, multi-level traction control, and regenerative braking.
Supporting its crossover positioning, the X-47 comes with features like an integrated dashcam, all-terrain radial tyres, and an onboard charger compatible with Type 2 AC car charging stations.
