Yamaha pays tribute to Frontline workers; offers cashback benefit

Yamaha Motors India has announced a ‘Gratitude Bonus’ scheme on its scooters to pay tribute to our Frontline workers. The scheme is applicable on its Fascino, Ray ZR and Street Rally.

Yamaha Motor Company turns 66 years today. The company was established on July 1, 1955. In celebration of its 66th anniversary, Yamaha Motor Company has announced a ‘Gratitude Bonus’ scheme. The new scheme has been crafted to pay tribute to Fontline workers i.e Medical Staff, Sanitation Workers, Police and Armed Personnel, and Municipal workers.

Yamaha India is offering a cashback of Rs. 5,000 for frontline workers on purchase of its Fascino 125, Ray ZR 125 and Ray ZR Street Rally 125. The ‘Gratitude Bonus’ can be availed between July 1-7, and the scheme has been limited to a few cities – Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune – cities of India.

This scheme hasn’t been extended towards Yamaha’s motorcycle portfolio. Frontline workers who wish to purchase Yamaha motorcycles will miss out on cashback benefits.

Yamaha India recently launched a new motorcycle, the FZ-X for Rs 1.17 lakh ex-showroom. The motorcycle is largely based on the popular Yamaha FZ and you can read about the key differences between the two by clicking on the link here.

Yamaha recently showcased it’s 2021 Fascino 125 and 2021 Ray ZR both of which get a hybrid powertrain. The updated models of the Fascino and Ray ZR are expected to be launched in India by the festive season.
