The new Yezdi Roadster Red Wolf Edition has been launched in India at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 2.10 lakh. While it is based on the standard Yezdi Roadster, the Red Wolf Special Edition stands apart with a few notable cosmetic updates. In its Red Wolf avatar, the bike features a deep red paint finish, and the exhaust, engine, and handlebars are highlighted with chrome detailing. Another key change is the rich brown seat, which adds to this special edition’s overall appeal. Apart from these aesthetic upgrades, the motorcycle retains its existing design and features, including the modular solo/pillion setup, twin-barrel exhaust, wide rear tyre with hugger fender, and sculpted fuel tank.

Commenting on the launch, Anupam Thareja, Co-founder, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said, 'The Red Wolf joins the pack of Roadsters from Yezdi, the only true India-born classic motorcycle brand in the world. It is a name which does not have to invent stories. It has them in every decade. Like a true Yezdi forged in India, the Roadster Red Wolf has the rare ability to set the rider up to look good, almost rakishly so, without trying too hard. Its vintage swagger is a throwback to Yezdi’s palette of deep reds and metallics from the 1970s. Only this time, beneath its unapologetic chrome lies performance engineering built for Indian roads and modern riders. We’ve built Yezdi Roadsters for those who don’t follow the pack. The Red Wolf is ready to gather its own.'
The bike has the same 334cc Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine that produces 29bhp and 29.63Nm, and is a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It boasts a kerb weight of 184 kg and comes equipped with a 12.5-litre fuel tank. The bike rides on a 1,440mm wheelbase, and has a seat height of 790mm.
As for the hardware, the Yezdi motorcycle is underpinned by a double cradle frame. Suspension duties are handled by 41mm telescopic forks at the front, while the rear features twin gas-filled emulsion shock absorbers with a five-step adjustable preload setup.
