2023 Kia EV6 Bookings Reopen in India; Prices Start at Rs 60.95 Lakh

Currently, Kia is also extending exclusive ownership privileges to the first 200 buyers of the EV6, including a 95 per cent buyback policy within 30 days, free periodic maintenance for 5 years, and 8 years/1.60 lakh kilometre warranty on the battery.

Kia India has reopened bookings for the 2023 Kia EV6 in India. Prospective customers can visit the official website to make the booking online as well as do the same at the company's select dealerships. The updated Kia EV6 comes in two variants - Standard GT Line and GT Line AWD (all-wheel drive). In terms of pricing, the latest EV6 SUV stands at a starting price of Rs 60.95 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 65.95 lakh for the AWD variant. Prices are ex-showroom. Currently, the car manufacturer is also extending exclusive ownership privileges to the first 200 EV6 buyers, including a 95 per cent buyback policy within 30 days, free periodic maintenance for 5 years, and 8 years/1.60 lakh kilometre warranty on the battery. The electric SUV is offered in five different colours - Aurora Black Pearl, Snow White Pearl, Yacht Blue, Runway Red, and Moonscape. It measures 4,695mm in length, 1,890mm in width, & 1,570mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,900mm.

2023 Kia EV6: Battery, Engine

The 2023 Kia EV6 is available in India in GT-Line trim, with both RWD (rear-wheel drive) and AWD (all-wheel drive) options. The RWD EV6 gets a single motor that churns out around 226bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque, and it has a range of 510-kilometre (WLTP). While the more powerful e-AWD version has a dual motor setup that outputs 320bhp and 605Nm of torque, enabling it to sprint from a standstill to 100km/h in just 5.2 seconds.

As for its battery, the latest Kia EV6 comes equipped with a 77.4kWh battery and delivers an ARAI-certified driving range of up to 708 kilometre.

2023 Kia EV6: Exterior and Interior

When it comes to its styling, the updated Kia EV6 appears youthful and modern. It gets a sunroof, a short nose, strong character lines, smooth curves, and clean design elements. At the rear, it carries a full-width LED light bar. 

Inside the spacious cabin, the EV6 has dual 12.3-inch curved displays that include a touchscreen display and a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, ventilated seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, and ADAS features such as lane keeping assist, lane follow assist, multi-collision braking, and more. In terms of safety, the car is packed with 8 airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with ESC, hill-start assist, etc. The AWD version offers a little extra in the form of a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, e-AWD, and an augmented reality head-up display.

2023 Kia EV6: Prices, Rivals

Prices of the 2023 Kia EV6 SUV now range between Rs 60.95 lakh and Rs 65.95 lakh, as the company increased the price of the electric car by Rs 1 lakh in January 2023. The EV6 was launched in June last year at Rs 59.95 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom. It has rivals the likes of the MG 4 EV, the BMW i4, and the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
