Kia EV6 Engine and Other Specifications

This premium SUV is equipped with two permanent magnet synchronous motors and a 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery under the floor pan. The motor has the capacity to generate a maximum power of 320.55bhp and torque of 605Nm.

The other Kia EV6 specifications include an all-wheel drive train, a McPherson front suspension, a multilink rear suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels with tubeless radial tyres of 235mm width, ventilated disc brakes, and tilt and telescopic steering column with Rack & Pinion Gear. Talking about charging, the carmaker states that the battery can reach 10% to 80% in 73 minutes with a DC fast charger of 50kW and the same charge can be attained in 18 minutes with a DC fast charger of 350kW.

This big and sleek SUV encompasses a tiger-face-like front having dual LED headlamps with adaptive driving beam and daytime running lights with sequential indicators, connected LED tail lamps with sequential indicators, LED rear fog lamps, body-colored door garnish, high glossy belt line, body-colored flush door handles, rear spoiler, integrated antenna, and wide electric sunroof.

The Kia EV6 interior includes a ten-way adjustable ventilated driver seat with memory function, a ten-way adjustable ventilated front passenger seat, a vegan-leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls, 64 colors ambient lighting, metal scuff plates, sporty alloy pedals, anti-glare inner rear view mirror, dual-zone automatic air conditioner, wireless smartphone charger, and a rear parcel shelf. Along with these, it also has a meridian premium sound system with fourteen speakers, a 12.3-inch curved multi-information display, and a central touchscreen display.

Kia EV6 Safety Features

The safety features of this EV boast eight airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, an augmented reality head-up display, and pre-tensioners and force limiters seatbelts. Additionally, it has an ADAS system that includes forward collision avoidance alert, lane-keep assist, blind spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic avoidance assist, safe exit assist, lane follow assist, driver attention warning, and smart cruise control with stop-and-go functionality.

Furthermore, this car comes equipped with an antilock braking system, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, and vehicle stability management system, to keep the vehicle in control in most situations.

The Kia EV6 price is similar to its rivals Audi Q5 and BMW X3. Talking about the variants, it is sold in two variants, namely GT line and GT Line AWD, having slightly different specifications and features.
