The all-new Audi Q8 SUV with expressive design has finally been revealed globally. The new Audi Q8 creates an impression of being in motion thanks to its uncluttered design, abundant surfaces, and unmistakable volume. The vehicle's athletic and graceful proportions are enhanced by its low overhangs and long wheelbase, which may be further emphasised via the selection of unique exterior colours and wheels. The Audi Q8 SUV continues to use an internal combustion engine, as seen by the significant modifications made to the vehicle's front end. The 2024 Audi Q8 has octagonal components added to the single-frame grille. Even on the standard Q8 facelift, the air intakes have grown bigger, giving the coupe SUV a more assertive appearance and adding to its sportiness. Gloss black was used for the grille surrounds to further emphasise the model's streamlined and athletic appearance.
2024 Audi Q8 SUV: Design
The 2024 Q8's exterior has undergone slight tweaks, but they together provide the crossover with a sleeker, more appealing front end. The current iteration of the grille has a reduced level of angularity compared to its predecessor, resulting in a more streamlined appearance as it seamlessly merges with the headlights. This design approach bears a resemblance to the melding of the grille and lights seen in the Q8 e-tron model. The air intakes in the front bumper have been increased in size, and a new exhaust arrangement is standard.
There are now five distinct wheel options ranging in diameter from 21 to 23 inches. There are now three new colour options for the Q8, one of which is the stunning Sakhir Gold. Audi has added an additional app that is compatible with its infotainment system, featuring third-party applications like Spotify, and the Q8 has a number of new materials too.
2024 Audi Q8 SUV: Features
Audi has implemented changes to the arrangement of the Matrix LED headlights, and the Q8 model will be made available with advanced laser lights that enhance the reach of the high beams. The daytime running lights on high-end versions have the capability of switching between four distinct lighting patterns, which can be controlled via the infotainment screen. Additionally, the rear light bar has a more streamlined appearance and is now available with Audi's advanced digital OLED lighting technology.
2024 Audi Q8 SUV: Engine
The Q8's engines remain unchanged, as it still relies on a turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 engine. This engine generates a power output of 335bhp and a torque of 500Nm of torque. The power is sent to all four wheels using an eight-speed automated gearbox. The engine is further enhanced with a 48-volt hybrid-assist system, that helps to recover energy during braking.
Another option is the six-cylinder, 3.0-litre 45 TDI diesel engine, which has 228bhp and 500Nm of torque for a top speed of 226 km/h. When upgrading to the 50 TDI variant, the vehicle offers a power output of 282bhp and a torque of 600Nm. This enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds while achieving a top speed of 241 km/h.
