Isuzu will soon bring the 2024 V-Cross to India, which is already available in several international markets. The automaker's latest teaser on social media shows many visual upgrades to the pickup. These include fresh skid plates (front and rear), gunmetal alloy wheels, chrome fog light surround, revamped wheel cladding, modified silver roof rails, and revised upholstery. The V-Cross is currently priced between Rs 24.30 lakh and Rs 28.86 lakh in India (ex-showroom). Considering that it's a facelift, the engine is unlikely to be changed. The 2024 V-Cross will continue to use a 1.9-litre turbo diesel unit that produces 161bhp and 360Nm. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and automatic. The pickup is available with four-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive configurations. The four-wheel drive option includes a rear differential lock and a low-range transfer case. It can tow up to 3.5 tonnes and wade through water of 800mm.

Although Isuzu hasn't yet disclosed a precise launch date, we anticipate the upgraded V-Cross to arrive in India sometime next month. It will continue to face competition from the Toyota Hilux, which starts at Rs 30.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Market reports suggest that the new V-Cross could cost between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (both ex-showroom), the Japanese company hasn't confirmed this though.

The Toyota Hilux rival boasts numerous amenities, including power-foldable and adjustable ORVMs, cruise control, six airbags, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, electronic stability control (ESC), and hill start/descent control. Isuzu has yet to reveal the additional features, but we expect the current list of conveniences to be carried forward in the redesigned pickup.
