2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport Launched at Rs 67.90 Lakh in India, Gets New Pivi Pro Infotainment and More

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched the new and refreshed Discovery Sport in the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The company's updated model gets two engine options, and is available in a single Dynamic SE trim. Powering the 2024 Discovery Sport are a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine from Jaguar Land Rover's Ingenium family of engines. The former features a 48V mild-hybrid system and delivers 245hp and 365Nm of torque, while the latter belts out 201bhp and 430Nm of peak torque. For handling transmission, a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system are available.  

On the outside, the changes to the new Land Rover Discovery Sport are minimal. For the model year 2024, the Discovery Sport features a mesh grille finished in Gloss Black, redesigned LED headlamps and taillamps, and new 19-inch alloy wheels. As for exterior colours, the carmaker has introduced a new Varesine Blue option.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport: Interior, Features

However, it is on the inside that the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport receives significant updates, with the most pronounced being a floating 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This setup offers shortcuts to essential vehicle controls and functions, such as media, volume, climate, and navigation. Also on offer is an Alexa voice assistant as standard. 

In addition, you also get a fully digital instrument cluster and steering wheel-mounted gearshift paddles as standard. Even the gear selector has been redesigned. Other bits are a panoramic glass roof, leather interiors, climate control for the third row, Cabin Air Purification Plus, USB charging in all three rows, as well as a suite of camera technologies including 3D surround cameras, a ClearSight Ground View, and a ClearSight Rear View Mirror.

Like before, the 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport comes in a three-row seating configuration, with a capacity for up to seven passengers.
