2024 MG Astor SUV Launched in India at Rs 9.98 Lakh, Gets Updated Infotainment System and More Connected Tech
Ranging from Rs 9.98 lakh to Rs 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated MG Astor SUV is available in five variants: Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.

Morris Garages (MG) has launched the new Astor for the model year 2024 in the Indian market. Priced from Rs 9.98 lakh to Rs 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Astor is available in five variants: Sprint, Shine, Select, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro. The 2024 MG Astor comes with an array of updated features, such as an improved i-Smart 2.0 with an advanced user interface (UI) and more than 80 connected features, including a Jio voice recognition system, which enables voice commands for weather and cricket updates, calculator, clock, horoscope, dictionary, news, and more. Another noteworthy feature is the anti-theft system with a digital key functionality, offering security even without a network connection.
Other features include ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, a 360-degree surround camera, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with 14 functions, which uses mid-range radars and a multi-purpose camera.

MG Astor: Engine, Transmission
Mechanically, the SUV remains the same. The new Astor continues to be offered with either a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol mill or a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The former delivers 108bhp and 144Nm of torque, while the latter develops 20Nm of torque and 138bhp. For transmission duties, there are three options: a 5-speed manual, CVT, and a 6-speed torque converter unit.
