Nissan India has introduced a new member to its SUV family, the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition and the prices for this special edition start at Rs 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The name 'Kuro' means 'black' in Japanese, and the car reflects this theme throughout its design. Bookings are now open, and customers can reserve one by paying Rs 11,000. On the outside, the Magnite Kuro Edition carries a full black theme. The Onyx Black paint is matched with blacked‑out details on the grille and bumpers, replacing most of the chrome seen on the standard model. At the back, the SUV keeps a chrome 'Magnite' badge for contrast and adds a special Kuro emblem. The look is finished with black alloy wheels that have silver accents.

The black styling continues inside the cabin. The dashboard, steering wheel, roof lining, and centre console are all finished in dark shades. Based on the N‑Connecta trim, the Kuro Edition offers features like a digital display, an auto‑dimming inside rear‑view mirror, the Arkamys sound system, and i‑Key auto unlock. Climate control with rear AC vents and an illuminated glove box are also included.

For performance, the Magnite Kuro Edition comes with the familiar 1.0‑litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces 71bhp and 96Nm of torque, and buyers can choose between a 5‑speed manual or a 5‑speed AMT. Nissan also offers a CNG version of this engine for those looking to save on running costs.
