The new Tata Sierra comes with a wide spectrum of segment-first features, which positions it as a strong contender against rivals like the Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, and Maruti Suzuki Victoris. The SUV is available in seven distinct trims – Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ – with features varying across each model. Bookings for the Sierra will commence from December 16, 2025, while deliveries are scheduled to begin on January 15, 2026. Here’s all you need to know about the top 5 segment-first features of the Tata SUV.
The newly launched Tata SUV has a 12-speaker JBL Black sound system, complemented by a dedicated soundbar. This is a significant upgrade from Tata’s traditional 10-speaker layout. In addition to two extra, it features Dolby 5.1, Dolby Atmos, promising immersive surround sound and clear acoustics throughout the cabin.

The new Tata Sierra distinguishes itself in the hotly contested mid-size SUV segment with its segment-first Triple Screen Layout. While popular competitors like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos offer highly modern cabins, they typically employ a sophisticated, but less expansive, dual 10.25-inch connected display setup for the instrument cluster and infotainment system.

The Sierra, in contrast, offers a superior screen experience, pairing a 10.25-inch digital cluster with a substantial 12.3-inch infotainment display and further enhancing passenger comfort with a dedicated 12.3-inch passenger entertainment screen.
In the Sierra, both front occupants benefit from extendable sun visors. These visors slide outward to block sunlight that typically escapes past traditional visor edges, resulting in a calmer, more comfortable driving environment. It improves comfort and visibility, and comes as a standard convenience feature in the cabin.
The Sierra uses frequency-dependent dampers that greatly improve its ride quality. These dampers adjust themselves based on the road surface, helping the suspension absorb small bumps while remaining steady over rougher stretches. This makes the drive feel stable and reassuring, even on mild soft-roading paths.

The new Tata Sierra benefits from a segment-first camera-based Blind Spot Monitoring system, often referred to as a Dual Blind Spot Monitor. It is powered by the vehicle’s 360-degree camera system and part of Tata’s ‘4Sight’ suite.

The unit also displays live front and rear side blind spots as soon as the indicators are engaged. By giving drivers a complete visual awareness during turns, lane changes, and overtakes, it sets a new benchmark for safety and confidence in this segment.
Prices for the Tata Sierra start at Rs 11.49 lakh for the Smart+ variant and go up to Rs 18.49 lakh for the Diesel AT Adventure+ variant.
