Isuzu has updated the 2026 D-Max Hi-Lander with an automatic gearbox, marking the first time the pickup is offered with this transmission. In addition, the entry-level lifestyle variant of the D-Max has gained a range of premium features, including a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, and cruise control (available on AT variants). Other upgrades include electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors, remote central locking, LED projector headlamps with integrated DRLs, and LED taillamps. The price of the Hi-Lander starts at Rs 21.05 lakh and goes up to Rs 23.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The pickup also comes equipped with hill start assist, a reverse camera (automatic variant only), hill descent control, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat anchor points, and traction control.

Mechanically, the Hi-Lander continues to be powered by the 1.9-litre diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 161bhp and a peak torque of 360Nm. The unit is now paired with an Idle Stop-Start system borrowed from the V-Cross. That said, the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox remains.
The 2026 iteration makes the D-Max Hi-Lander more popular among urban buyers who prefer the ease of an automatic gearbox and a more premium experience in an affordable pickup segment. It serves as an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, including logistics, agriculture, and inter-city or highway travel.
Isuzu recently launched the 2026 D-Max V-Cross with several notable upgrades. The lifestyle pickup has discontinued the 4x2 drivetrain and is now offered only with a 4x4 configuration. Prices for the D-Max V-Cross start at Rs 25.50 lakh and go up to Rs 30.28 lakh (ex-showroom). While the core design remains the same, the 2026 model adds a more prominent grille with a black lower element and a revised bumper with reduced plastic cladding. The faux skid plate has been removed, and for a cleaner side profile, the body cladding and black wheel arches have been omitted.
The pickup also sports new 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the previous 9.0-inch touchscreen has been replaced by a larger 10.3-inch unit with wireless connectivity. The dashboard and doors now feature contrast trim inserts, and the range-topping Z Prestige variant adds a roof-mounted eight-speaker audio system.
Safety-wise, the V-Cross comes equipped with a 360-degree camera system and tyre pressure monitoring. That said, the engine remains unchanged.
