Kia has finally given the long-awaited generational update to the Seltos (seven years after its launch in 2019). The SUV, already known for its rich feature set, now receives several noteworthy features for the very first time. It also gets a comprehensive redesign, aligned with Kia’s global styling language, highlighted by a prominent rectangular grille with a bold black mesh pattern, squared-off headlamps positioned at the grille’s edges, and vertical LED DRLs. Dimensionally, the SUV has also grown – 95mm longer, 30mm wider, with an 80mm increase in wheelbase. The infotainment system in the 2026 Seltos now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing for effortless smartphone integration. Alongside this, the screen features a cleaner, more modern interface with sharp graphics and smoother menu transitions, making it easier to navigate media, apps, and other car functions.

For the first time, the 2026 Seltos features an advanced 10-way power driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar support. The sophisticated seating system offers extensive electronic adjustments, enabling drivers to customise their position for optimal ergonomics, support, and long-distance comfort. Additionally, Kia has introduced a unique comfort feature called ‘Relaxation Mode,’ designed to enhance cabin relaxation.

Kia has given the Seltos a more premium look with flush door handles, a feature usually seen on luxury SUVs and EVs. These handles sit flat against the car when not in use, making it look sleek. They extend automatically when the smart key is nearby, enhancing both convenience and aerodynamics.

The new Kia Seltos also comes equipped with side parking sensors, complementing the front and rear sensors. These sensors help drivers navigate tight spots and everyday driving scenarios with greater ease.
