The 2026 Kia Syros gets updated styling, new alloy wheels, fresh colours, and now offers a diesel automatic from the HTK+ variant onwards.

Kia has updated the Kia Syros for 2026, and the big headline is the new starting price of Rs 8.40 lakh. That makes it around Rs 30,000 cheaper than before, which should help the Syros get more attention in the packed sub-4-metre SUV space. Along with the lower entry price, Kia has also revised the variant lineup and given the Syros a few cosmetic changes to keep it looking fresh. The updated SUV is already reaching dealerships across India, and it continues to take on rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
The variant lineup has been shuffled around for 2026. Kia has added four new trims – HTE, HTE (O), HTK+ (O), and HTX (O). The Syros range now starts with the HTE and goes all the way up to the HTX (O). In the process, the older HTK base trim has been dropped, while the HTX+ and HTX+ (O) variants have also been removed. The new structure feels cleaner and gives buyers more options at different price points without making the lineup confusing.
| Powertrain/Trim | HTE | HTE(O) | HTK(EX) | HTK+ | HTK+(O) | HTX | HTX(O) |
| G1.0 MT | Rs 8,39,900 | Rs 9,19,900 | Rs 9,79,900 | Rs 10,73,900 | Rs 11,99,900 | - | - |
| G1.0 7DCT | - | - | - | Rs 11,93,900 | Rs 13,19,900 | Rs 13,99,900 | Rs 14,99,900 |
| D1.5 6MT | - | Rs 9,99,900 | Rs 10,59,900 | Rs 11,53,900 | Rs 12,79,900 | - | - |
| D1.5 6AT | - | - | - | Rs 12,73,900 | Rs 13,99,900 | Rs14,79,900 | Rs 15,79,900 |
On the styling front, the changes are not massive, but they are enough to make the Syros look newer. There is a revised front bumper with LED fog lamps and body-coloured aero inserts, while the rear bumper has also been redesigned. Kia has added gloss black finish elements for the roof rails, skid plates, and ORVMs, which work well with the new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The neon brake callipers add a bit of flair too. Buyers can also pick from three new paint shades – Ivory Silver Matte, Ivory Silver Gloss, and Magma Red.
Under the bonnet, nothing has changed. The Syros continues with the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which can be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DCT. There is also the familiar 1.5-litre diesel engine with the choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. The bigger update is that the diesel-automatic combination is now available from the HTK+ trim onwards, with prices starting at Rs 12.74 lakh. Earlier, buyers had to stretch for a higher trim to get that gearbox option.

Kia has not touched the equipment list either, so the Syros still comes loaded with a 30-inch Trinity display, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, sliding and reclining rear seats, and more than 80 connected car functions. That combination of features, lower pricing, and more variant options should make the Syros an even stronger package now.
