The 2026 Skoda Kodiaq has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing a big safety and tech update to Skoda’s flagship SUV. The latest update adds Level 2 ADAS to the Sportline and Selection L&K variants, giving the Kodiaq features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, front collision warning with automatic braking, blind spot detection and rear traffic alert. The SUV already had a strong road presence and the new safety package now makes it feel more modern for buyers looking at a premium three-row SUV.

Skoda has also added a few extra features to the Sportline variant, including a 360-degree camera and the illuminated LED front grille strip, both of which were earlier reserved for the top-spec Selection L&K trim. The Kodiaq Lounge is priced at Rs 36.99 lakh, while the Sportline and Selection L&K variants cost Rs 44.99 lakh and Rs 46.99 lakh respectively, ex-showroom.
The Sportline version of the 2026 Skoda Kodiaq now gets a few updates that make the SUV look sharper on the road. The biggest visual change is the illuminated front grille strip, which was earlier limited to the top-spec Selection L&K trim. Skoda has also continued with the gloss black styling bits on the outside, and together they give the Kodiaq a cleaner and more sporty look.

The Selection L&K remains the most premium version of the Kodiaq and now also benefits from the new ADAS package with LED Matrix headlights and Adaptive Front-lighting System. It still carries a more elegant design compared to the darker Sportline trim. The Lounge variant, meanwhile, continues as the entry point into the Kodiaq range and keeps the same solid SUV stance that has made the model popular in India since its arrival back in 2017.
Cabin-wise, all three variants offer their own character. The Lounge variant gets Grey Suedia upholstery, a panoramic sunroof and three-zone climate control, while being offered exclusively in a five-seat configuration. The Sportline gets a darker all-black cabin theme with Black Suedia seats, aluminium pedals and a sportier steering wheel that suits the trim well.

If comfort is the priority, the Selection L&K goes a step further with Cognac leather upholstery, powered Ergo front seats, heating, ventilation and even a massage function. Skoda’s Smart Dials system continues across the range and remains one of the more practical cabin features in daily use.
The new Kodiaq continues with the familiar 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 201bhp and 320Nm of torque. The motor comes paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive as standard. Skoda has not changed the mechanical package.

The Kodiaq still feels planted at high speeds, comfortable on long highway runs and confident enough for rough roads when needed.
