The ongoing Auto Shanghai 2025 is hosting several prominent global automakers, including Audi, a major German brand showcasing its specialised innovations for the Chinese automotive market. One of the standout highlights is the Audi A6L e-tron, a long-wheelbase variant extended by 132mm, which stands out as a key offering from the four-ring brand. This model features a larger 107kWh battery, providing greater range, and will be produced locally in China. In addition to the A6L e-tron, Audi showcased its other long-wheelbase models, including the A5L and Q5L. Read on to know some key specifications of the Audi A6L e-tron EV.

Audi A6L e-tron: Design

The Audi A6L e-tron, despite its extended wheelbase, keeps the sleek, sporty coupe-like silhouette of the standard model. Its low roofline and short overhangs enhance its dynamic, athletic profile while optimising aerodynamic performance. The extended wheelbase is most evident from the side, providing a more refined stance, while the bold "quattro muscles" above the wheel arches emphasize its performance-driven design. Flush door handles further streamline the exterior, adding to the car's clean, uninterrupted lines.

The car also boasts a continuous LED light strip connecting the taillights—an unmistakable Audi signature design that adds a modern touch to the look.

The A6L e-tron’s extended wheelbase has added a noticeable increase in rear legroom, prioritising comfort for passengers without compromising the model’s signature width and height. It not only enhances the space, but promises a more relaxed ride, particularly for those in the back seats. Other than this, the digital interface remains the same, with a 14.5-inch infotainment screen, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.9-inch passenger display, providing intuitive control and connectivity. Other possible features include ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.
