Audi introduces a more affordable A6 Lifestyle Edition at ₹ 49.99 lakh

With the Lifestyle Edition, the Audi A6 range now starts from ₹ 49.99 lakh (ex-showroom), about ₹ 5.9 lakhs lower than the standard A6 TFSI Technology variant.

Audi has introduced the A6 Lifestyle Edition to provide an exclusive luxury experience to its customers at an attractive price range. The enhanced luxury experience comes courtesy of features like a rear seat entertainment package, an Espresso Mobil and entry-exit lights with Audi logo projection. The rear seat entertainment package offers a fully integrated infotainment system, which features two individual 10-inch screens mounted at the back of the front seats. These removable screens can also double up as tablets for use outside the car. Further, the Espresso Mobil is an in-car coffee maker and the entry-exit lights are basically puddle lamps which project the Audi logo on the ground. 

In terms of other standard features and engine options, the Lifestyle Edition remains identical to the regular A6 variants and carries forward the same kit, which includes the MMI Navigation with MMI Touch, Advanced Voice Dialogue system and a Bose Surround Sound system. Mechanical features like the Seven Speed S-Tronic transmission, Adaptive Air Suspension and Audi Drive Select also remain unchanged.

During the launch, Mr Ansari also highlighted the fact that 2019 will be an important year for Audi in India as the German marque is gearing up to bring its new generation models here. This could hint towards the much-delayed arrival of the new A8 and A6 sedans, which are already on sale in Europe.
