Audi opens new dealership in Guwahati

Audi made its presence felt in the North-East region of India by inaugurating a showroom in Guwahati on Tuesday.

Located on NH 37, Lalmati, Guwahati, the showroom is spread over 15,000 square feet and houses the entire fleet of Audi cars. Furthermore, a service centre is located in the same premises to ensure prospective owners do not have to head west when their cars break down.

‘North-East India has tremendous growth potential and the aspirations of the people from the region are really high,” Mr Joe Kind, Head of Audi India said: “ We will be reaching out to our discerning luxury car customers across the seven sisters states through Audi Guwahati. This strategic expansion will not only strengthen our foothold in this region but also showcase our commitment to offer our customers across India an unparalleled luxury experience of class defining products and world class services. We look forward to a long standing association with Audi Guwahati.”

Audi has become the first luxury manufacturer to open a dealership in North-East India. It sees plenty of potential in this region and hopes to build on its success from last year when it became the first luxury car manufacturer in India to cross the 10,000 sales mark.
