Audi Q3, Q8, A4 Prices Slashed by up to Rs 7.83 Lakh After GST 2.0 Update

Audi India has revised the prices of its ICE models in response to the newly updated GST slab rates. As a result, popular models like the Q3 and A4 have become significantly more affordable. This presents a great opportunity for luxury car buyers in India to buy their preferred Audi car at new and reduced GST 2.0 rates, which the German marque claims are effective immediately, so customers don't have to wait until September 2022 (the official new GST implementation date). 

The entry-level models like the Q3 now start at Rs 43.07 lakh, down from Rs 46.14 lakh. Meanwhile, the A4 is priced at Rs 46.25 lakh, instead of the previous Rs 48.89 lakh. The Q5 SUV and A6 sedan have also become affordable, starting at Rs 63.75 lakh and Rs 63.74 lakh, respectively.

Audi’s flagship SUVs, the Q7 and Q8, have also seen some of the most substantial reductions. The Q7 now starts at Rs 86.14 lakh (a reduction from Rs 92.29 lakh), and the Q8 is priced at Rs 1.10 crore, down from Rs 1.17 crore. 

With cess charges removed and tax slabs streamlined, several luxury cars in India have seen notable price drops. Audi has also welcomed the change in GST by quickly adjusting the pricing of its models and making them available well ahead of the official implementation date of September 22.

In addition to Audi, luxury carmakers such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus have also announced price reductions across their range.
