The Flying Spur, Bentley's Hybrid model, has been launched in the Indian market. The luxury sedan is available at an introductory price of Rs 5.25 crore, excluding exchange rate fluctuations and customisation options. This price is ex-showroom, Delhi. Note that the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid will be sold only through Exclusive Motors, the official partner of Bentley in India. To refresh your memory, the British brand took the wraps off the updated model in July 2021, and the sedan received more changes in terms of mechanicals than cosmetic. Under the hood, the Flying Spur Hybrid uses a 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo engine connected to an advanced electric motor. As a result, the powertrain setup is capable of cranking out a combined power output of 536bhp and a peak torque of 750Nm.

The overall power output helps the Flying Spur Hybrid to clock 100km/h from a standstill in only 4.3 seconds, about 0.2 seconds slower than the V8-powered Bentley Flying Spur. Bentley claims that this new hybridised version returns a range of 800km (combined).

Inside, the Flying Spur Hybrid gets 3D leather door panels, familiar lofted quilting on the seats as seen in the Mulliner models, and 3 driving modes – EV Drive, Hybrid Mode and Hold Mode. Plus, a host of customisation options are also on offer – 15 leather colours (5 standard and 10 optional) and 8 bespoke veneers. Other optional bits include stitching colours, emblems, and contrast piping for seat covers. As for the exterior, buyers have the option of 60 paint schemes, which include Mulliner editions.

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid: What the Company Said?

On the occasion, Satya Bagla, Managing Director, Exclusive Motors, said, "Bentley is the world leader in luxury mobility and has defined modern luxury in the automotive world. This Bentley Has 'Airline Seats' as Standard

Last month, Bentley pulled the wraps off their flagship model SUV, which features more cabin space than its luxury competitors. Dubbed the Bentayga EWB Mulliner, the car is designed and curated by the Mulliner team, which is the British manufacturer's bespoke and coachbuilding division. Offered with a choice of 4+1 and 4-seat configurations, the flagship SUV is said to offer a mix of performance and comfort. Plus, the brand's 'airline seat' specification is available as standard with it, which is delineated by the manufacturer as the most advanced seat ever fitted to a car, with 22-way adjustments, an auto climate sensing system, and postural adjustment technology.
