Bentley is taking a celebratory drive down memory lane in 2025, unveiling three special edition Flying Spur models to honour pivotal sedans from its storied history: the 1965 T Series, the 1985 Turbo R, and the 2005 Continental Flying Spur. Each edition features unique exterior and interior elements that draw from the design and engineering of its reference model. The three releases demonstrate Bentley’s effort to align its long-standing manufacturing values with current production methods. Mulliner, Bentley’s personalisation division, led the creation process to link heritage models with the company’s present development priorities and future direction.

The Flying Spur Azure acknowledges the 60th year since the 1965 T Series. The model carries a Shell Grey finish with 22-inch tri-spoke wheels that mirror the form of the original version. The cabin uses blue-grey and Beluga leather trim with Burr Walnut veneer, representing a direct link to the early sedan’s material choices.

The Flying Spur Speed observes 40 years since the Turbo R entered Bentley’s lineup in 1985. Finished in Brooklands Green with a Monaco Yellow coachline, this version references the profile of Bentley’s early performance sedans. It runs on a V8 hybrid unit generating 771bhp, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 3.3 seconds. The interior applies Linen and Cumbrian Green leather with Dark Burr Walnut veneer to maintain continuity with the earlier model while integrating hybrid performance technology.
The Mulliner Flying Spur Speed 20th Anniversary edition marks twenty years since the Continental Flying Spur of 2005. Its Cypress Green body, saddle pinstripe, and 22-inch ten-spoke wheels retain elements of the original sedan’s proportions. Inside, Special Green and Saddle leather combine with open-pore Burr Walnut veneer and diamond quilting, continuing Bentley’s practice of detailed material work in four-door touring models.
