Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Tata Motors has revealed the Stealth Editions of the ICE-powered Safari and Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2025. The special editions bring these popular SUVs a dark-themed design and updated interior look, offering a modern and sophisticated feel. The Safari caters to customers who prefer traditional powertrains, while the Harrier EV highlights Tata’s push toward sustainable mobility. Both models have advanced features and improved connectivity, ensuring a contemporary driving experience. By introducing the Stealth Edition, Tata Motors aims to address diverse consumer preferences and strengthen its position in the growing SUV and EV markets.

Tata Safari, Harrier EV Stealth Editions: Cosmetic Features

The Tata Safari and Harrier EV Stealth Editions introduce a new matte black finish, bringing a distinctive edge to their appearance. On the Safari, elements such as the grille, air dam, and bumper are finished entirely in black for a striking look. It also has a 'Safari' badging on the front fender and the car rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels.

The Harrier EV is also equipped with unique dual-tone alloy wheels. Despite these updates, the SUVs retain their signature features, including the connected LED lighting and their characteristic overall design.

Tata Safari, Harrier EV Stealth Editions: Cabin Details

The Stealth Edition of the Safari and Harrier EV introduces an all-black cabin, while the dashboard retains the same design as the standard versions. Key features include a panoramic sunroof, dual touchscreens measuring 12.3 inches and 10.25 inches, wireless charging, rear window shades, a touch-based panel for HVAC controls, a 10-speaker JBL-tuned sound system, ventillated first and second-row seats, a new drive selector for automatic models and dual-zone climate control. Safety offerings include up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), three-point seat belts with occupant reminders, hill hold control, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Tata Safari, Harrier EV Stealth Editions: Mechanical Core

The Safari Stealth Edition continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 168bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic. The manual variant offers a fuel efficiency of 16.30km/l, while the automatic version provides 14.50km/l.

The EV’s dual-motor variant, on the other hand, offers a significant torque output of 500Nm. However, the company has yet to reveal details about its battery, motor, and range.

The special edition models are expected to have a higher price tag than the regular models. The Tata Safari’s current price ranges from Rs 15.50 lakh to Rs 27 lakh, while the Harrier EV is anticipated to start at Rs 30 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
