BMW has launched what it calls the most powerful BMW X3 in India – the 30 xDrive M Sport Pro, priced at Rs 74.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The new model has given an edge to the X3 with a sharper design, enhanced features, and increased performance, all while staying true to its iconic appeal. The highlight is the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which is now tuned to produce 254bhp and 400Nm, marking an increase of 67hp and 90Nm over the standard xDrive20 petrol variant. It also comes paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. Power is routed through an 8-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels, allowing the BMW X3 30 XDrive to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.3 seconds.

The new BMW X3 30 xDrive looks sportier and more refined, though the muscular and upright SUV stance remains the same. It gets an all-black BMW kidney grille with an illuminated ring and adaptive LED headlamps with M-specific Shadowline highlights.
Other standout details include red M-branded brake callipers, 20-inch alloy wheels, subtly smoked arrow-shaped taillamps, and a ‘30’ badge on the electrically operated tailgate.
The BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro retains the familiar cabin layout but elevates the interior with a more premium feel, featuring leatherette finishes on a few parts, including the dashboard. The SUV continues to offer a host of amenities, including a three-zone automatic climate control system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen. It also has ventilated, power-adjustable front seats with memory function for the driver, a flat-bottom M-style steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

For safety, the SUV comes equipped with ADAS, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. The X3 offers 570 litres of boot space, expandable to over 1,700 litres when the rear seats are folded.
