BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition Launched in India at Rs 96.90 Lakh, Gets Manual Transmission Option

BMW has launched the Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition in India, featuring a manual transmission for the first time in an M Performance model. Starting at 96.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the automatic and Rs 97.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual gearbox, this roadster is available as a completely built-up (CBU) unit. The Pure Impulse edition includes new alloy wheels, a refreshed interior, and two exclusive colour options – Frozen Deep Green and Sanremo Green.

Inside, the cabin features Vernasca Cognac leather upholstery with contrast stitching and edge detailing.

Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition: Design

The BMW Z4 Pure Impulse edition brings a sporty roadster design with signature elements like the kidney grille and slim LED headlights. Its long bonnet adds to the dynamic look, while the soft-top roof opens or closes in just ten seconds. At the rear, L-shaped LED taillights give the car a sharp and modern finish.

This edition offers better driving performance with an upgraded chassis for more precise handling. It features new staggered M Light alloy wheels – 19-inch in the front and 20-inch at the back. The Z4 also gets standard M Sport brake calipers in Red metallic, adding to its sporty character and bold appearance.

Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition: Interior

The BMW Z4 Pure Impulse edition features a premium cabin with ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and memory function seats. Optional upgrades include comfort access, silver-effect soft-top, lumbar support, M seatbelts, adaptive LED headlights, and a Harman Kardon sound system.

It also gets BMW ConnectedDrive with Live Cockpit Professional and a 10.25-inch digital display. Key safety and convenience features include Park Distance Control, a rear-view camera, optional Parking Assistant, and Driving Assistant for added on-road support.

Z4 M40i Pure Impulse Edition: Engine

The BMW Z4 M40i Pure Impulse edition comes with a 3.0-litre inline-six engine that produces 335bhp and 500Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100kmph in 4.6 seconds with the 6-speed manual transmission and 4.5 seconds with the 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic.
