Citroen has officially launched the Aircross X in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 8.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV becomes the latest addition to Citroen’s X-Series after the Basalt X and C3X, expanding the brand’s presence in the mid-size SUV space. Offered in both 5 and 7-seater configurations, the Aircross X aims to cater to a wide range of buyers, particularly families seeking space and flexibility. The SUV brings noticeable exterior updates, an upgraded cabin with new technology, advanced safety equipment, and a choice of powerful petrol engine options.
On the design front, the Citroen Aircross X retains the brand’s recognisable styling cues while adding some new touches. A Deep Forest Green body colour is being offered for the first time, paired with an 'X' badge on the tailgate that distinguishes it from other Citroen models.

Customers may also opt for a dual-tone roof finish for an additional Rs 20,000. The SUV keeps a 200mm ground clearance, LED daytime running lights, and bold proportions, giving it practical appeal on Indian roads.
Inside, the cabin has been updated to improve comfort and overall convenience. Citroen has introduced a leatherette dashboard with gold detailing, a bezel-less 10.25-inch infotainment display, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. Key features include ventilated front seats, ambient and footwell lighting, a redesigned gear selector, and a dark brown interior theme. The SUV is also fitted with Citroen’s CARA AI assistant, which supports 52 languages and offers voice-enabled access for navigation, vehicle health diagnostics, and emergency SOS support.

The Aircross X comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist as standard. The SUV integrates over 40 active and passive safety technologies. Buyers also get access to features such as passive entry, push-button start, auto-folding mirrors, cruise control, LED projector fog lamps, and an optional 360-degree camera package with satellite view for Rs 25,000.
Under the bonnet, two petrol powertrain choices are available. The entry-level You variant gets an 82bhp 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Higher trims are offered with a 108bhp 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
