Aston Martin F1 driver Fernando Alonso owns one of the most exotic Ferrari, the Enzo, with the original body. At the Monaco Car Auctions L'AstaRossa on June 8, he will be selling the remarkable car. The price tag is expected to be more than USD 5.36 million. Since beginning the 2023 season with Aston Martin, Fernando Alonso has been riding high. Alonso, who spent the previous two years down in the pack, is once again in contention for podium finishes. The Aston Martin AMR23, he said, is the quickest F1 car he has driven in recent times. In fact, he is now so committed to Aston Martin that he seems to be ready to break up with one of his legendary Ferrari vehicles. Alonso finished the Monaco Grand Prix last weekend with his best result of the year. The Spanish driver came in second place, but he might have won the race if Aston Martin had chosen the appropriate strategy. He nevertheless came away from the experience with a mountain of gratitude for his colleagues.
Fernando Alonso's Ferrari Enzo
Alonso announced the sale of his 2011 Ferrari Enzo, which he posted a photo of himself with, to his followers. "Happy to announce that I will put my Enzo (first scoca) number 1 up for sale in Monaco. I hope the new owner of this unique piece enjoys it very much.”
Alonso's Enzo has only 4,800km on it, which is great news for buyers in the future. Therefore, once bidding begins, the expected asking price is rather high. This vehicle will be auctioned off by a firm called Monaco Car Auctions. Nothing has been revealed regarding the pricing as of yet, but it will be live on June 8th.
Ferrari's mid-engine sports vehicle, the Enzo, honours the company's founder Enzo Ferrari. A carbon fibre body, F1-style automated-shift manual gearbox, and carbon fibre-reinforced silicon carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite disc brakes were among the F1 innovations used in its development.
Ferrari introduced a brand-new generation of V12 engines with the Enzo, the F140B. Aside from that, it's an Enzo, so it's one of 399 in existence and has a Formula One-derived 6.0-litre V12 that generates a whopping 650bhp and 657Nm of torque.
