Ford launches online service cost calculator

Ford India has launched an online Service Price Calculator that allows owners to know the cost of periodic maintenance before booking the service at a Ford dealership.

Known as Service Price Promise, the e-calculator also allows users to carry a print out of the quoted website to a dealership, ensuring complete transparency.

“With Ford's Service Price Promise, we are ensuring trust and surety than surprise for our customers when they walk into any Ford dealership for a standard service,” said N Prabhu, vice president, Ford customer service operations. “This step not only ensures transparency in our service experience but also demonstrates a commitment to our customers.”

Ford will regularly update its website with maintenance cost of all vehicles, including the newly launched Figo hatchback and Aspire sedan, as well as its best seller SUV, the EcoSport.

Customers will be informed about the initiative through its network of dealerships, Service reminder eDMs, and Ford Mobile App.

Service Price Promise joins a host of other features and services offered by Ford India to improve  customer convenience, accessibility and affordability.

Sub-Assembly Level for Repairs - With Sub-Assembly Level for Repairs, Ford reduces the overall cost of ownership by breaking up an auto part into various sub-components. For instance, Figo Aspire comes with around 850 parts available under sub-assembly.

Localisation and Competitive Parts Pricing - Ford has been working on increasing localisation of parts to offer cars at competitive rates, while maintaining high quality standards.

Ford’s Happy Pockets Service - A CoO initiative, Happy Pockets Service allows car owners to avail Ford’s service starting at Rs 2,199.

Ford Vehicle Personalisation Centre - Ford has launched a Vehicle Personalisation Centre to offer enhanced customisation to buyers. This option is currently restricted to the EcoSport.
