Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition to celebrate a decade of its premium Nexa brand. The special edition is Maruti's first model with a factory-finished matte black exterior. It features an all-black design that commands attention on the road. The SUV is only available in the Strong Hybrid Alpha+ variant. While the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition prices haven't been announced, the model is expected to cost more than the SUV's Strong Hybrid Alpha+ variant, which starts at Rs 19.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
Commenting on the launch, Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, 'As we celebrate a decade of Nexa, the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq Edition reflects our ongoing commitment to inspire customers with specially curated innovations. This Limited Edition captures the essence of indulgence, offering an SUV that not only performs exceptionally but also aligns perfectly with the refined lifestyles of our discerning buyers.'
The Grand Vitara Phantom distinguishes itself with an aggressive all-black makeover. The matte black paint (first for any Maruti Suzuki car) offers a rugged and stylish look. It is contrasted with gloss black elements on the grille, wheels, and trims. While the roof rails are blacked out, the chrome details are missing on the new version, adding to the overall stealthy vibe of the SUV.
